Member National Assembly since August 2018 to date. Joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in March 2018. Elected as the Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan for the first time in Pakistan general election, 2002 on the ticket of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement from NA-249 .Minister of state for Religious affairs and Zakat and Ushar Division (2004 -2007).
