Committee System Evaluation in Contrast with South Asia

This report compares the committee system of Pakistan with 3 south Asian countries, concerning Nature of government, constitutional provision of committee system, types and formation of committees, Criterions for membership/ chairmanship, Tenure and powers(legislative, inquiry, recommendatory) of parliamentary committees. It also highlights how the sessions are con ducted and what are the powers and privileges of a chairperson in budgetary recommendations.
